PartChowk Privacy Policy

PartChowk is an Android marketplace for buying and selling car spare parts in India. It is operated by Navnira Development Labs, Malibu Town, Sector 47, Gurugram 122018, India.

This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can ask us to change or delete it.

Who this applies to

This policy covers the PartChowk Android app (com.navnira.partchowk). The app is meant for adults in India. It is not directed at children under 13.

The studio website privacy policy covers navnira.com, not this app.

What we collect

We collect only what the product needs to run:

  • Account. Indian mobile number, one-time WhatsApp login code, name, username, email, role (buyer, seller, or both), shop name if you sell, optional WhatsApp number, and part specialties if you sell.
  • Listings and requests. Part details, price, vehicle fitment, a location you type (city or area, not GPS), photos from your camera or gallery, and “wanted part” posts.
  • Messages. In-app chat between a buyer and a seller about a listing or a wanted request.
  • Contact numbers you publish. Phone numbers you add to your profile so the other party can call you from a listing or request.
  • Device notices. Notification permission so we can alert you to new chats or matching part requests. We do not use advertising IDs.

We do not collect precise GPS location, contacts, or your full photo library. Camera and photo access are used only when you choose a picture for a listing or request.

How we use it

  • Create and secure your account with a WhatsApp OTP.
  • Show listings and wanted posts to other users.
  • Let buyers and sellers message each other in the app.
  • Notify you of new messages or matching requests.
  • Check for app updates (sideloaded installs may check GitHub Releases; Play Store installs use Google Play).

We do not sell your personal data. We do not show third-party ads in the app. We do not use your data for profiling or credit decisions.

What other users can see

Marketplace content is public to signed-in users. That includes your listing photos, part details, location text, shop or seller name, and wanted-part posts. Chat is visible to the two people in that conversation. If you tap Call, the other person’s number opens in your phone dialer.

Who processes data for us

  • Supabase. Hosts accounts, listings, photos, and chat.
  • Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API). Sends the login OTP to your WhatsApp number.
  • Google Play. If you install from Play, Google handles distribution and updates under Google’s policies.

These providers process data on our instructions to run PartChowk. They have their own privacy policies for how they operate their services.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, listings, and chats while your account is active. If you close or delete a listing or wanted request, we remove that post. Login OTPs are short-lived and are not kept as a message history. We may keep limited records if we must for fraud, abuse, or Indian law.

Your choices

  • Edit or remove listings and wanted requests you posted. To delete some data without closing the account, see Delete PartChowk data.
  • Sign out on this device from Account.
  • Turn off notifications in Android settings.
  • Ask us to correct or delete your account and associated data. We will do that unless we must keep something for legal reasons.

To delete your account, follow the steps on Delete your PartChowk account. To request access or correction, email hello@navnira.com from the same email or phone you used in PartChowk. We will process requests within 30 days, except where we must retain information for a legal obligation.

Security

Access to listings and chat is protected by your signed-in session and database rules. Photos you upload for listings are stored so other users can view them. Do not share OTPs or pay anyone before you have confirmed the part.

Indian law

We process this data to provide the marketplace you asked for, and to keep accounts secure. If India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act applies to your request, you can contact us as described above. You may also have rights to access, correct, or erase personal data, subject to that law.

Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of PartChowk after an update means you accept the revised policy.
